Upped a whopping 2.5kg more on my heavy squats today, but on my last rep I couldn’t get up again and almost fell backwards and shocked/scared myself into tears in the middle of the gym. Don’t think I’ll be showing my face there for a couple weeks 😅 Thankfully my boyfriend was there to catch me (literally) and remind me that even though I was scared and embarrassed by falling/failing, I pushed myself to my edge - which is a great thing! It’s gonna hurt tomorrow though… think I’ll just plan light home workouts for next week and humble myself 🤣🤣
